Unico is a true love story about two people finding each other, falling in love, and sharing a passion for unique, innovative jewelry.

The creators of Unico are two very different people who have come together to form a business with a commitment and desire to create beautiful jewelry.  Maria is a passionate Argentinean woman who was working in the bustling center of Buenos Aires. Traveling in Asia, she, by chance met Marco, who was raised in a small village in the Black Forest Region. Marco had an infatuation with beautiful jewelry and was working in his native Karlsruhe selling (his creations) to the townspeople.

 Marco already had a fascination with the exquisiteness of how different stones  could be pieced together to create dazzling designs, he mostly collected items from the corners of Asia and the seas of India. Maria, on the other hand, introduced Marco to the world of rising Argentinean designers, whom specialize in brightly colored tactile pieces. Their fairy tale romance led them to travel the world collecting individual
pieces that were waiting to be turned into exclusive jewelry.

While travelling, the two fell in love, and with their two completely different worlds uniting, the first Unico store was born in Karlsruhe, Germany. Since 2002, Unico has been creating rare pieces to be enjoyed by all whom wear them.
